The 2023 Property Revaluation: New assessments were mailed on April 17th. The Town is mandated by State law to conduct property revaluations every 3 years. The new values have an effective date of 12/31/2023. The values represent the estimated fair market value of your home on that date which takes into consideration the market conditions that has taken place since the last revaluation. Over the past 3 years, market values of homes continued to rise at a high rate due to sales activity in a high demand, low inventory market. If anyone has a question about their new assessment, they are to contact Northeast Revaluation Company at the number listed on the notice recieved.

Seasonal Dinghy Tie-Up Spots are available including parking for one car. The maximum boat length is 12 feet. The tie-up spots are available from May 15th to October 15th, 2024. Annual fee is $350.

This hearing is a continuation of prior hearings of this matter previously heard on the following dates:
CONTINUED FROM DECEMBER 6, 2023, JANUARY 10, 2024, FEBRUARY 22, 2024, MARCH 6,
2024, MARCH 20, 2024 and APRIL 29, 2024.
Special Use Permit:
A petition has been filed by James A. Hall, Esq., General Counsel, 695 George Washington
Highway, Lincoln, RI 02865 for a Special Use Permit at 0 Souza Road (Plat 119-Lot 624).
Property is located in the General Commercial (GC) Zoning and Pedestrian Friendly Destination
(PFD) Zoning Districts seeking to build a new Seasons Corner Market that will consist of a
convenience store with a drive-through coffee shop and a gasoline filling station with four (4)
fueling pumps covered by a canopy (the “Project”).
Applicant seeks the Zoning Board of Review’s approval of its application for the following
three (3) special use permits:
1- Special Use Permit for Gasoline Filling Station: Pursuant to Article IV, Section 10(j) of
the Zoning Ordinance.
2- Special Use Permit for Restaurant with Drive-Through Service: Pursuant to Article IV,
Section 8(e) of the Zoning Ordinance.
3- Special Use Permit for Signage: Pursuant to Article XII, Section 11 of the Zoning Ordinance.

Northeastern, Inc. d/b/a Ignited Culture, 610 GAR Highway, Swansea, MA 02777 have filed a petition for
a Use Variance at 15 William S. Canning Boulevard, Tiverton, RI 02878 (Plat 203, Lot 114). Property is
located in the Highway Commercial (HC) Zoning District and petitioner seeks to use this location for a
marijuana retail establishment. Regulation of standard in the Zoning Ordinance from which variance is
requested is Appendix A, Article IV, Section 10. Grounds for variance are set forth in Article XVII, Section
2 of the Zoning Ordinance.

the Planning Department’s Administrative Officer regarding the Certificate of Incompleteness pursuant to
Article 13, Section 23-79 of the Land Development and Subdivision Regulations.
