community with a population of 16,359 citizens and growing. The town operates with a
combined municipal and school department budget of over 60 million dollars. The Town
employs over one hundred municipal employees. The Town Administrator shall be responsible
to the seven-member Town Council for the administration and management of the municipal

CUSTODIAL MAINTENANCE
The Town of Tiverton seeks to fill one full time, benefited, position as “Custodial Maintenance”
for the Department of Public Works. This advertisement is a general description of the
requirements for this position. A job description of duties, responsibilities, qualifications, and
selection guidelines associated with this position are published HERE or are available at the Town Clerk’s Office.
The Custodial Maintenance position performs a variety of semi-skilled building maintenance
tasks and other unskilled and semi-skilled tasks at Town buildings and properties. To be
considered, candidates should possess the following minimum qualification: a high school
diploma or GED equivalent. It is preferred that the candidate has 2 or more years of building
maintenance or similar work experience. Three written references from former or current
employers should be submitted with application. A full employment history (formal resumes
preferred) and cover letter shall be submitted. A Class “A or B” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
is required at time of application or ability to obtain one within (6) six months.

The Town of Tiverton seeks to fill one full time, benefited, position as “Truck Driver/Laborer” for
the Department of Public Works. This advertisement is a general description of the requirements

ASSISTANT TOWN PLANNER
