Board of Canvassers
The Tiverton Board of Canvassers is charged with conducting all elections for the Town of Tiverton. Under the direction of the State Board of Elections, and in cooperation with the Secretary of State, the Tiverton Board of Canvassers are involved in all phases of the electoral process, from voter registration to tallying the votes after the polls close on Election Day.
It is the goal of the Tiverton Board of Canvassers to ensure the will of the Town's citizens is accurately voiced in each Municipal, State and General Election; and to serve the Town Council and the citizens of Tiverton by registering new voters and encouraging all citizens to vote.
Registering to Vote. You can register to vote or update your voter record on the Rhode Island Secretary of State’s Website by logging onto https://vote.sos.ri.gov/ or by printing the attached Voter Registration Form voter_registration_form.pdf and mailing it to:
